Introduction

The backup image file produced by EaseUS Todo Backup in private *.pbd format can ensure better data security, however, it would be a trouble to check the backup files without recovery. The release of EaseUS Todo Backup 4.5 brings a new feature to avoid this problem: explore backup image in Windows Explorer.

Solution

There are two ways to open the image file. One is to right-click the image file and select open option. The other is to double click it just like opening a typical directory in Windows Explorer.

Then you have access to the file directory, and choose one way to open it. You can copy the files out or recover them to the original location. (NOTE: for data security, the backup image file is read-only, you cannot modify or delete it in Windows Explorer.)

Note:

1. You need to install EaseUS Todo Backup in your Operating System so that you can browse the backup image in Windows Explorer.

2. With this method, you cannot recover a file directly which is backed up from Network Shared folder.
