Priority

The priority of any process running in a system determines the amount of CPU usage and system resources allocated to that process. Decreasing the backup priority will free more resources for other CPU tasks. Increasing the backup priority might speed up the backup process due to taking resources from the other currently running processes. The result depends on total CPU usage and other factors. You can set up the backup process priority:

  • Low - the backup process will run slower, but it will not influence other process running on your computer.
  • Normal - set by default. The backing up will be processed with normal speed, but the backup process will influence other process running on your computer.
  • High -The backup process will run with maximal speed, but the performance of other processes will be reduced.
