Mount

To browse and restore individual files, EASEUS Todo Backup can connect images as virtual drives, and allow you to access them as though they were a physical drive. This means that:

  • A new disk with its own drive letter will appear in the drives list.
  • Using Windows Explorer and other file managers, you will be able to see image files as if they were located on a physical disk or partition.
  • The connected virtual drive will be read-only and you won't be able to change anything in it.

To mount an image archive:

Mount Wizard

Click on the 'Mount Image' item in the main program window or select "Operation" > "Mount" or in toolbar and action panel.

Follow the Mount Image Wizard steps:

Image Selection

Select an image file you would like to mount in the tree below. You will be able to assign temporary drive letters to partition backup from the archive file.

Note:

  • When you select the backup archive, it will show all the volumes of the backup archive in the right list. You can select one or more volumes to mount and assign the drive letter(s).
  • If the selected archive is password-protected, please enter the password and click the "Confirm" button.

Selecting Partitions to Connect and Letter Assignment

You must select a partition or more to connect as a virtual disk. Note that you cannot connect the entire disk. To select a partition and assign a letter to it:

  • Check the corresponding box of the partition.
  • Select a letter to be assigned to the connected disk from the drop-down list.
