When to recover system to dissimilar hardware?

EaseUS Todo Backup provides Recover to dissimilar hardware feature which can help you:

• Migrate system to new PC with different configurations.
• Restore an image of Windows operating system to dissimilar hardware (RAID controllers).
• Deploy the same operating system on many computers.

How to do recover system to dissimilar hardware?

Before restoring system to dissimilar hardware or any PC, please ensure you have an image of Windows operating system.

1. Launch EaseUS Todo Backup, click Recovery -> Recover to dissimilar hardware.

2. Select a system backup file.

3. Select recovery location, select disk.

4. Click Proceed.

Tips:

1. If there are no drivers compatible with your hardware, you need to manually specify where to find the driver(s) for specific hardware.

2. If the boot and system partition are not the same partition, you have to back up these two partitions and restore them during the process of restore.

3. Note: EaseUS Todo Backup Free and Home doesn't support this function. Please choose the right Edition for you.
