EASEUS Todo Backup can help you backup partitions or disks to an image file. Meanwhile, the Mount Image Wizard built in this free backup software also allows you to mount the backed-up images as virtual drives to explore and copy the files, that is:
You may also unmount the virtual drive after all necessary operations are finished.
1. Operation -> Mount.
2. Find it on the toolbar.
3. Find it on the action panel under "Operations".

2. Then you will be led to the "Mount Image Wizard".
3. Select a backup image file you would like to mount in the directory tree below. Here, we select "system.PBD", and you will be able to assign a drive letter to the virtual drive from the archive file. The default driver letter assigned is Z: You may use it and click Next.
If you want to assign another drive letter to the virtual drive, please click the check box before the drive letter Z:. It will appear like the image below.
Then you can assign another drive letter from the drop-down box and click Next.

4. Then, it displays the complete list of operations to be performed. You can find the drive letter assigned to the partition from the backup image, the file system, the size, etc. Click Process.
5. When the operation is successfully processed, click "OK".
6. Finally, you will find partition Z: in "My computer" which is the virtual drive mounted from the backup image file, and then you can explore and copy files in it.
