The priority of any process running in a system determines the amount of CPU usage and system resources allocated to that process. Decreasing the backup priority will free more resources for other CPU tasks. Increasing the backup priority might speed up the backup process due to taking resources from the other currently running processes. The result depends on total CPU usage and other factors.
You can set up the backup priority as follows:
1. Launch EaseUS Todo Backup and click Backup -> File backup.
2. Click Backup options and select Priority.
3. Click OK to apply settings, click Reset to initial settings to cancel settings.
