What can image splitting do for you?
As we know, there are different limitations of different storage device and it is not able to store the image if the backup image is too big and not fit for the device. What should we do if we want to store the image onto the CD or some other storage device? With EASEUS Todo Backup, you do not need to worry about this problem anymore. Image Splitting is provided to solve this problem and allows you to split the backup image according to your storage device.
How to split the backup image?
There are two ways for you to split the image file.
Case1: Set backup priority previously before backup operation.
1. Run EASEUS Todo Backup from Start Menu.
2. Click "Tool" > "Option", or just click "Option" on toolbar.
3. Check the fourth settings "Archive Splitting" and choose the size that you want.
Case2: Set the backup priority manually during the backup operation.
1. Run EASEUS Todo Backup.
2. To launch backup operation, please click "Backup" in the main window, or select "Operation" -> "Backup" from the menu bar, toolbar or action panel to start "Create Backup Wizard".
3. After completing the prior backup steps, you will get "Choose Backup Options" page.
Here are two options: "Use Default options" and "Set the option manually".
4. After you choose the Set the option manually option, you will find there is an "Archive splitting" on the interface.
5. Images can be split into several files to fit the type of the storage medium as bellow and you may choose a preset solution for various devices, which mostly depends on the file system of the destination storage medium. Please make sure all the splitted images are stored under the same folder so that restore can be achieved successfully.
